Scientific illustrator and wildlife artist. Based in the Italian Alps.

With a background in biology (PhD), I specialise in illustrating anatomy, animal behaviour, ecology and evolution. I work with researchers, editorial teams and institutions to create accurate and visually engaging illustrations for scientific publications, books and outreach materials. My scientific training allows me to translate complex biological concepts into clear images, ensuring both anatomical accuracy and effective visual communication.

Sequential drawings of an orangutan climbing a tree. This is part of a project commissioned for the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior. The project consists of a series of illustrations depicting animal species studied at the Institute, shown moving through their natural environments. The illustrations are used as background visuals for posters announcing scientific seminars at the Max Planck Institute of Animal Behavior and the University of Konstanz (Germany).
